A Touch of Whimsy scarf

I knitted this scarf for my daughter Cindy, it took me about 2 weeks of knitting on and off,
it was a fairly easy pattern to do. It was my first time doing an I-cord,
the instructions were very clear and easy to follow.

Here's a close-up of the pattern and I-cord.

You can find the pattern here, I used worsted weight wool which should make it nice and warm for our cold winter days in Ontario, Canada.

I love the scarf! It is a beautiful lace pattern, and the colours are gorgeous. It looks like a rosey colour but when seen up close you can see so many other colours in it. It will definately keep me warm, the wool is so warm feeling yet not super thick.

Thanks MOM :) <3 xoxoxo...
